I hold an MBA and a BSc. in Management from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, and I am proud to be an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK. With more than 18 years of experience in the capital market industry of Sri Lanka, gained through my tenure at BRS, I have established a strong foothold in the field.
Throughout my career, I have developed a robust client network that comprises domestic institutions, foreign entities, and local high net worth individuals. This network stands as a testament to the trust and confidence that clients have placed in me. Within the organization, I hold a significant role in overseeing the Research and Finance operations, ensuring their effective and efficient management.
Beyond my role at BRS, I also contribute to the industry through my position as a visiting lecturer at the Capital Market Education and Training (CMET) arm of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This esteemed organization is responsible for licensing Investment Advisors in Sri Lanka. By sharing my knowledge and experience, I actively participate in training future professionals, empowering them with the skills necessary for success in the capital market industry.
